19 & 20 July

As we started our drive we found some nice Giraffe just east from the lodge. After the Giraffe we drove to a water hole close by and spotted one Buffalo bull resting on the edge of the water. We went back to the west yesterday afternoon to go see Tingana and Karula mating in in a small dry river. The Breakaway pride of lions was in the same area as yesterday morning moving West. We also found a nice breeding herd of elephants feeding not far from were we saw the Leopards mating. This morning we came across yet another small herd of elephants but wasn't to happy with especially the youngsters. They were trumpeting at us and on a few occasions ran towards us before the moved away. our morning ended very good with two cheetah males resting on a termite mound on our open area. What a nice sighting they gave us. They kept an eye on some impala which was walking in the distance but lost interest and moved North.
