4th & 5th July 

Afternoon

- Mvula male leopard moving North and then East from Chitwa airstrip.
- Herd of elephants feeding close to Chitwa water hole.
- Found Thandi moving East on Mala Mala boundry, and then moved into the bush looking for a meal.
- Two Buffalo bulls feeding about not far from where we found Thandi.




Morning


- Elephant herd feeding East rom Chitwa airstrip.
- Another herd found West from the lodge feeding moving North.
- Inkanyeni found East from the Lodge busy stalking a Steenbuck.
- Quarentine young male Leopard moving about searching for a meal and then got trapped in                                               between a herd of Elephants.

Afternoon

- Matimba male with one Styx female resting about, with the the other two Styx female and tree cubs also resting close by.
- Big herd of Elephants at Chitwa waterhole.
- Nkuhuma pride of lions resting about on our entrance road to the lodge last night.
- On our way to our Bush dinner, we found the six sub-adults from the Talamati pride South from the lodge.





Morning

- Talamati pride we spotted South from the lodge.
- One Buffalo bull resting close to a road.
- Herd of Elephant crossing the main road close to us.

Afternoon


- The two Styx females where resting close to their kill, the three cubs where still around.
- Large family group of elephants where slowly feeding along the fire break, they walked right up to us and fed.
- Shadows young male cub was resting in a guarri thicket waiting for Shadow.


Morning


- The two Styx females and their cubs where eating the last of their kill this morning, there is not much left.
- One Matimba Male was resting in the shade and roaring every now and again.
- Lots of elephants all over this morning.

Afternoon


- Xivambalane male leopard resting in the drainage line for a while and then he got active scent marking and smelling for a female.
- The two Styx females where resting behind the dam wall.



       30th June 
Morning 

- A nice little herd of elephants slowly feeding.
- The two Styx females and the three little cubs where on a waterbuck kill, the little ones where very playful this morning.

Afternoon

- Massive herd of elephants on Golf Plains, they where all around us feeding and milling about. 
- Shadows youngster was lying next to the road in the shade. He was waiting for Shadow to come back.
- Tingaana male leopard in the tree with the half eaten python hanging over a branch. A patient hyena was waiting for some scraps to fall.


29th June 
Morning

- One Matimba male was resting East of the airstrip in the shade.
- The other Matimba male was mating with one of the Styx females.
- One female leopard just west of the lodge.

Afternoon

- Thandi's cub resting on a termite mound West from the lodge.
- Buffalo bulls moving towards a water hole.
- Tingana moving around searching for a meal.
- Elephant herd joining in on our drink stop last night.
- On our way back to the lodge, the two Styx females were busy chasing Impala around on the main road.

Morning

- Cheetah male East from the lodge moving North away scent marking as he passes by.

Afternoon

- Spend some time with a big Elephant herd at Chitwa dam. It was a real treat watching the Elephants as they were drinking, feeding around the vehicle and chasing Buffalo around moving North away from us.
- Found Thandi resting close to a private camp( Anette's Camp ) moving around the garden.
- Came across some Elephant bulls on our way back to the Lodge.

  Morning

- This morning we had the opportunity again to have seen the two Styx females with the three cubs moving West on the main road. What a treat and huge excitement for our guest as it is their first trip to Africa.
- Saw a small herd of Elephants in some thick vegetation.
- We tracked Thandi down with a fresh kill she had made during the early morning just West from the Lodge.
