16 & 17 July

Yesterday was quite an interesting drive. The Styx was found in the west, and as they were walking they came across a honey badger. They chased the badger until the badger turned around and bit one of the females on her nose before the badger disappear into a burrow. Tingana and Salayexe was found mating in the west. This morning as we left the lodge we found a small breeding herd of elephants feeding. Again Tingana and Salayexe was found mating close to Arathusa Safari lodge. We saw the Styx in the same area as yesterday just resting in the shade. As we drove along a road we spotted Nsjele the female leopard stalking some impala but soon lost interest. On our way back the East we came across some Buffalo bulls feeding.
