5 & 6 September

Yesterday started of slowly with just some general game around the area.. we moved to one of the dams in the area and found a herd of elephants drinking water. Among the herd we saw a tiny calf looks no older than 1 week.... We viewed the for a while before moving off. We followed up on leopard track but could not find anything.

Once up and on our way we picked up where we left the leopard tracks last night. To our surprise, not too far from where we lost the tracks last night, we found the female leopard, Thandi, feeding on an impala kill. We spent some time with her and decided to move off and leave her at peace. On our way back to the lodge we found a herd of elephants again. We stopped there for a while before ending our morning.
