Good day to everyone. And a good two drives we had, very good. We started off yesterday afternoon with three cheetah on kaalkol open. Was very nice seeing them just lazing about having a good sleep. We left them after viewing them for about half hour, not to far from that we had a breeding herd off elephant and a very big bull just feeding along in the cheetahs direction. We viewed them but went in a different direction of the cheetah. After that we went our separate ways in search of something nice and guess who we came across in the dried up river bed with a kill, Bahuti killed a big male impala not to long ago but was still full from his previous kill. We viewed him another 15 minutes and went for drinks. We went back to him and saw him posing for the cameras like no model can.
This morning started off very well also. As we went to wake up the guests we heard the wildebeest snorting, but was still dark so we could not see what it was that they saw. So later while we were having coffee we saw the same three cheetah from yesterday. They went for a drink of water at the pan and left in a northern direction, they went and lay down on a big termite mound and had a good view off everything around them. After about 15 minutes we saw them looking towards the lodge side only to find that the are looking at two more males. The males came in for a good look but didnt do anything stupid, because the mother of two gave them the death stare like nothing could even we were a bit scared. But got some good pictures. We left the cheetah as they moved into a northern direction and went back to see Bahuti. He was still in the same area close to his kill, witch he didnt eat too much off as he was still full. As we say very good indeed
