4 & 5 September

Good day to one and all. So yesterday started off with some nice elephant close to the lodge with some small ones in the mix. It was very quite in the east so we went to the west, on our way there we had a big herd of buffalo crossing one of the main roads, anything between 150 and 200. We went and viewed a female leopard called Karula, the one that was mating with Mvula not to long ago. We stopped for some drinks and made our way home, as we stopped off at Bahuti to view him for the last time.

We went back towards Bahuti but found his tracks crossing to the north. And went on to view some lovely plains game. Maybe better luck this afternoon.
