Yesterday afternoon we had a nice start to the drive, as we had some lovely giraffe and general plains game. We went to the area where Inkanyeni had her kill and found her laying just a bit away from the kill. Her cubs not laying far from her relaxing as well. The young male went to the kill and had a bit of a feed. We left them as the call came on the radio that the two Matimba male lions where making there way towards this area.
This morning we went back to
Inkanyeni found her lazing about with her youngsters. They got up and moved to the north and we lost them in thick bush. We went in the direction of where the male lions crossed in search of them, but they gave us the slip. Maybe we have better luck with them in the afternoon.
