23 & 24 October

We started yesterday with some elephant feeding around the vehicle, and some general plains game not to far from there. It was a bit quite in the east so we went west, just to get the call on the radio that there was a leopard at the hippo kill. It was Mojo cub, which is not a cub anymore. He was resting in a tree not to far from the hippo. We left him as he disappeared into the burnt area.

This morning was very slow in the east so we went west again. It was all happening that side. As we got into the west there was a call on the radio that Shadow has made a kill. She had only one cub with her though so hopefully the other one was just hiding from the vehicles. We had a look at some wild dogs having a mud bath and then resting in the shade of some Tamboti trees. We left them and found some buffalo not to far from there making there way to where the dogs had a mud bath, and they had a wallow in the same mud. We moved on to make our way home and there she was Salahexe just walking along the road looking as if she might be hunting. She was unsuccessful but very beautiful none the less. Very good morning.
Kind Regards
