7th & 8th April

Afternoon

- Male leopard Bahuti close to the Kruger boundary.
- Breeding herd of elephants close to the lodge.
- Female leopard moving into Kruger not to far from where we saw Bahuti.
- 2 male and 3 female lions moving over our open area.

Morning

- Bahuti killed an impala north of the camp.
- Went to visit the hyena den but only a couple of adults out of the den.
- Had a nice cup of warm coffee at one of the dams with a pod of hippos entertaining us.
- Had a quick glans of an African civet moving in to the thicket.
