-The hyena den was active with a few youngsters around
-Lots of buffaloes moving north from one of the big dams in the west
-Xiluva was still resting in the drainage line in front of the lodge
-Breeding herd of buffaloes east of the lodge resting in the heat of the day next to the road in the west

-Lots of elephants moving through the area west of the lodge and a very old bull feeding alone
-lots of general game on the open areas
