Our evening drive started quite well as Bernard found an
ostrich on Kaal kol, we headed towards Annett’s and as we drove on golf plains
we spotted a cat crouched in the tall grass.
It was Thandi. She kept us busy as
she walked into the thick bush sniffing her way true the thick bush. We left
her to her business and headed north towards Chitwa air strip, and to our
delight Bauiti was in the area grazing us with his presence.
On our way back
after drinks we bumped into a cheetah on our drive way, unfortunately due to
the darkness we could not spend much time with him.
This morning we had hoped
to find him but unfortunately we found the tracks going south. We headed
westward to see what we could find.
We bumped into a herd of elephant after
coffee, but noticed fresh lion tracks on the road. We followed the tracks and
left the elephants to their feeding habits, not even twenty meters west of the
elephants we spotted the lions heading north into the bush. We followed the
Styx pride into the bush until they stopped too lazy around. We did not stay
long as one of the guests had a plane to catch.
